You can plan for family photos, but your children will decide how they turn out.
Mchalie was very excited for photos. She never minds a good pose or the camera. Blakely – I knew she may be shy, but I expected Preston to be bubbly and happy.
Mchalie loved every second.
Blakely was extremely shy and cried – and took her hair out.
And Preston cried, too.
Thank goodness for our great photographer. My two littles look as if they are posing for an old Finnish family photo, but they are still adorable.

I tried to sneak a few photos when we went home.
As luck would have it, Blakely was all about posing at home.
I’m so glad we scheduled photos!
Oh, and I REALLY ordered Christmas cards. (First time since 2011.)
