I pin 8,054 DIY ideas every year, and I don’t do any of them.
Okay, I’m lying (and exaggerating). I have followed through with a few of the ideas I have pinned – including my version of the “between the studs” pin.
So … “between the studs” was a DIY pin I could not stop thinking about – especially because our house is very small for our family. (Sorry, this is not a post about some hunky men!)
Our current home was a rental for a number of years. At some point, the tenants had pushed in the bathroom wall – you guessed it — out came my crowbar. (Previous blog post: https://royalechristine.com/2018/11/18/joanna-gaines-wannabe/)
I will fully admit I hired someone to finish the idea (after I did the demolition and took chunks of the wall out with the crowbar).
I love how it turned out, and I love that I am keeping it practical. I was going to use decor on the shelving that looked good, but I wanted to truly utilize the space. The blue bottles are my organic products in their pretty blue bottles from the UK (https://us.nyrorganic.com/shop/royalewalter), and I added a few items bought by students, friends, my daughter and husband.
So grab your crowbar and go for it! 😉 I’ve seen many amazing versions of this idea.
