When we lived near my parents, one of Mchalie’s favorite meals was when my mom made her pork chops in the crockpot.
Mchalie has been asking for some, and they are super easy.
We stopped at a small, local grocery store to grab the pork chops (love supporting local businesses when we can). The pork chops cost under $5.
We had a can of Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom at home (under $2).
I added some onion that I had from tonight’s dinner (sirloin steak – yum!), and I threw in a garlic clove.
Easy!
I’ll leave the crockpot on warm for around 6 – 8 hours. I wake up in the night, and I’ll put the finished pork chops away then.
It’s a perfect lunch or dinner, and it’s ready for tomorrow.
Also, it’s a meal for the family that comes in under $8 total!
