What in the world is Kombucha?

If you’ve been looking for a healthy alternative to pop (soda), this is your solution!

Kombucha is made from fermenting either black or green tea and brewing it with sugar. This creates a slightly fizzy drink that resembles carbonation and may help kick your pop addiction with a much healthier alternative.

Why is Kombucha healthier? Kombucha is full of probiotics and enzymes. It is known to boost your immunity, increase energy and detoxification. And in all sincerity, it does much more!

Some of my friends from the Upper Peninsula have made some of the best Kombucha I have ever tasted. They had their own scoby and were masters in the art of Kombucha.

I would love to learn as well, but in the meantime, I find the best prices on Kombucha at WalMart (and when it’s on sale at Meijer).

Be sure to try a few flavors until you find one you enjoy.
