In a prior blog, I wrote about my love for the percolator and Dunkin’ Donuts Hazelnut Coffee (Best Brewed Coffee at Home – https://royalechristine.com/2019/01/30/best-brewed-coffee-at-home/)
Today, I took the coffee that was left over, and I used my favorite ice tray to freeze it.
If you are on the hunt for a stainless steel ice tray, it looks like the price has increased since I purchased the set of two. I paid $22 a couple years ago from the same company on Amazon, but you won’t be disappointed.
Since I purchased the Yeti (another prior post – Yeti Love – https://royalechristine.com/2018/12/17/yeti-love/), my coffee takes so long to cool down. Normally, I pour my coffee and leave the lid off for a while, so it will cool down enough to drink.
I love the idea of making coffee cubes to help cool it down a little bit faster in the mornings.
Also, I’m going to make some at-home iced coffee as well, so the coffee cubes will be perfect! I love how easy it is to get the ice cubes out of the tray.
I will keep you posted as I try out a few at-home iced coffee versions, but this really cooled the coffee off just enough to drink sooner.
Enjoy your java (and cool it off with coffee cubes if you bought that Yeti!)
