Here’s another easy fall and winter recipe for you.
Just a reminder that I share a lot of recipes that I find really easy, because I am not very confident in the kitchen. If you are like me, then you need to check out the recipes I share.
My husband says, “You always make soup.”
I reply, “You always makes chicken.”
If we are hangry, we get offended, but later (after a meal), we laugh that we get a bit defensive about cooking.
We stopped at a farm this weekend, and I bought one green pepper. Strange. I don’t know why I didn’t buy more.
I decided I needed to use the green pepper in … a soup.
I had chicken broth in the cupboard.
Rotini noodles (only part of a box) were in the cupboard, too.
Some peppers in the fridge.
Voila! A soup! My husband was shocked.
There was chicken as well, so I added it, too. My husband made that.
You should be laughing at this point.
I started this around 9 A.M. and just let it simmer. I added the noodles near the end – shortly before lunch. I did add some water to the broth if I needed to.
Enjoy this very fancy recipe! Even the kids liked it.
