Valentine’s Day (February) Books

I’ve linked just a few of my favorite Valentine’s Day books to read with my two youngest, because we still haven’t unpacked all of our books (we have a lot!)

Whenever possible, I buy the board books because when I attempt to read with them (yes, I said attempt), they accidentally (or purposely) rip pages.

Reading is a fantastic way to help your child become a strong reader, but I fully admit that I have a hard time getting my kids to sit that long to enjoy the books – busy kids! (Okay, wild!)

Even if they’re busy doing something else, I’ll do my best to read the book. Many times they are listening or they’ll dart over quickly to check something out that I’ve read.

I’ll be sure to add more to the list as we continue to unpack the house, and I’ll be sure to add our books for March soon – March is reading month!
