In late August and September, I was in DIY mode to revamp the new house.
Many of you have followed along, and as I was about to attack the bathroom floor (after redoing everything else), I hit a wall.
Did I lose motivation? Had I overdone it? I could not get myself to finish the projects I had in mind.
I stopped every project – only to find out later that baby #4 was on the way and that the complete exhaustion and lack of motivation was early pregnancy. It all made sense.
After the bathroom floor project, my plan was to paint the master bedroom, but it’s going to take some time before I am able to completely redo the master, so until then, I’ve worked on using a lot of decor on hand to brighten the bedroom.

The floral pillow sham (24” by 24”), the blue velvet pillow, along with the cream, hand knit lumbar pillow are all from Pottery Barn. Unfortunately, they are items that are no longer available.
