Lucky Charms Marshmallow Bars

These were so good!

And, of course, very easy.

Warning! Requirement: Must love Lucky Charms cereal.

We put these out to catch the leprechaun on St. Patrick’s Day Eve.

He sure ate a lot, but our trap didn’t work – for the second year in a row. Lucky leprechaun!

You can read about the traps here:

https://royalechristine.com/2019/03/12/leprechaun-trap-challenge/

You literally need 3 ingredients to make these.

Ingredients:

– Lucky Charms Cereal – 6 cups

– Marshmallows – 6 cups (I had the large marshmallows this time, and the name brand marshmallows taste better.)

– Butter – 1/2 stick

Directions:

1. Grease your pan. (I used a 9” glass pan and greased with butter.)

You can find a pan similar to mine here:

2. In a pot, melt the butter over low/medium heat.

3. When your butter melts completely, add your 6 cups of marshmallows and stir until they melt. (Advice: Have your marshmallows measure out ahead of time and slowly add them in until they melt. Do not leave the stove. These melt quickly.)

4. Pour in your 6 cups of Lucky Charms and stir with the marshmallows until they mix well.

5. Try to spread them out evenly in your greased pan.

6. Leave them to cool. (I put ours in the fridge overnight and cut into squares the next day.)

Enjoy!

Maybe you’ll have better luck catching that leprechaun!
