In a city called Holland, on the shores of Lake Michigan, an annual event called “The Tulip Festival” would have started today, May 2nd, 2020.

Since 1929, the festival hasn’t been canceled – until this year – due to Coronavirus (COVID19). It would have been the 91st year for the event.

The positive: I have no doubt the festival will return in years to come, and I found an amazing small business located in Holland to provide you with fantastic, affordable, and well-made home decor.

Introducing The Cozy Mitten of Holland, Michigan – providing framed wall decor and hand poured candles.

The owner, Heidi writes, “We created this business in hopes that it would be fun and exciting for us and affordable and beautiful for customers like you.”

I would have to wholeheartedly agree. Excited to have found this small business (and gem), I immediately ordered their newest design for their framed tapestry – a highlander. Otherwise known as the hairy coo in Scotland. (Thanks for the nickname, Laurie!)

It’s massive (60” by 50”), and it completes the loft area in our house.

They do have an option for an even larger size (80” by 50”).

The price, the quality and even the shipping were all extremely reasonable.

The best part, they’ve offered an exclusive discount for my blog readers. You’ll be supporting a Michigan, small business while updating your space.

It’s important to mention that there are other fantastic options to choose from as well.
