Most days, my makeup routine takes 5 minutes.

If I’m home, I wear less (or none), and it’s even faster.
The best part (besides a fast routine) is that this list is also budget friendly. The total will fluctuate based on Amazon prices, but as of today, this 5-minute-makeup routine costs less than $45.
Admittedly, I’m a huge fan of organic makeup from other countries that face more stringent regulations for human health. I love Neal’s Yard Remedy, based in the UK, but with recent changes for availability in the US, the products I’m sharing are what I’m currently using.
Here’s my 5 minute daily routine (in order):
1. Face lotion/moisturizer:
Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer:

Another moisturizing option: Since I can’t purchase my Neal’s Yard Remedy favorites, I did purchase two of their other moisturizers to try. I waited for a sale, but they are quite a bit more expensive. You can shop with NYR Organic here: https://us.nyrorganic.com/shop/royalewalter

Tip: Always apply moisturizer in circles and opposite of gravity. Be gentle near your eyes where your skin in more sensitive.
2. Foundation:
Revlon Colorstay:

Tip: Buy a foundation brush or sponge and start the application in your t-zone.
3. Eyeliner:
Maybelline New York Black Eyeliner:

Tip: Start at the outer corner of your eyelid. Extend your line out past the end of your eyelid (slightly) to make your eyes appear a bit larger.
4. Mascara:
L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Makeup Lash Paradise Mascara:

Tip: Start by applying your mascara at the root. Give a light wiggle and apply outward in a straight line. Add an eyelash curler if you’d like a more dramatic look.
5. Chapstick/Lipstick:
It Cosmetics Lip Treatment in Rose:

If I’m looking for a little bit of color, I’ll use:
Revlon Kiss Lip Tint Lipstick:

Tip: Use a lip liner to line just slightly outside of your natural lip line. Fill in with your lipstick from above.
Not a part of my daily 5 minute routine:
Optional: Highlighter*, Eye Shadow*, Blush*, and Brow Powder*. (I don’t use these regularly.)
6. Highlighter:
Victoria’s Secret Just Say Glow:

I lucked out and was at a Victoria’s Secret when they had a semi-annual sale. I grabbed a highlighter stick to try, and I really like it; however, I don’t use it every day.
7: Eye Shadow:
Revlon ColorStay Creme Eye Shadow, 760

8. Blush:
Beauty Counter
A beautiful blush as a gift from my favorite sister. Sorry, I don’t have a link for this item.
9. Eyebrow Powder Kit:
COVERGIRL Easy Breezy Brow

10. DIY Fake Eyelashes:
Ardell Natural Eyelashes (174)

Of course, eyelashes can be a complete game changer. You can read the full blog on these here: $7 fake lashes diy: https://royalechristine.com/2019/08/11/7-fake-lashes-diy/
Of course, don’t forget to buy one of my favorite makeup removing options:
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towlettes:

If you enjoy a fast makeup routine on a budget, I hope this helps!
